Good Morning Broadview Danforth BIA Members,

 

This coming Monday, September 21 at 12:30pm you're invited to sit down with our MPP Peter Tabuns to voice your concerns as small business owners during this very turbulent time.  What can he advocate for within the provincial government?  What would be of help to you?  

 

Can he push the sitting government to improve its approach to mental health issues?  The Federal government gives our provincial government $600 million annually specifically for mental health initiatives yet we are sadly dealing with people suffering from mental health issues literally on our doorsteps.  Can he push the sitting government to legislate permanent, predictable alcohol pricing relief for our restaurants and bars, including restoring and maintaining LCBO wholesale discounts.  What relief packages is the province offering to small independent business owners during this tariff conflict?

 

Your voice on these matters and any others is crucial.  My voice alone is okay, but the voices of many help make a difference. So I urge you to please consider taking a bit of time to attend this meeting.
