Good Morning Broadview Danforth BIA members,
Tomorrow Councillor Paula Fletcher will recognize BIA business members who have been in business for 50+ years!
The ceremony will take place in the courtyard of the Carrot Common starting at 9:30am and you're all welcome to stop by if your schedules allow.
The Broadview Danforth businesses being honoured are: The Albany Clinic (1946), founded by four physicians returning from World War II; The Danforth Music Hall (1978), originally Allen’s Danforth Theatre built in 1919; Blue Cross Animal Hospital (1930s) begun as a one-man practice; Sher-e-Punjab, opened 51 years ago in its current location; Book City; and Modern Optical (1968), the first Greek-speaking optician service in Ontario.
Congratulations to these members.
Susan
